Full Description:
Mrs Christian Amiel, New York, to Carleton. Arriving at that city after the evacuation of Philadelphia, her husband having gone to the West Indies to procure friends and relief. Seeks financial support and passage to England for herself, her six sons (who have take a 'spirited part' with the army) and her married daughter (Mrs Armstrong). Endorsed as cannot be given, Frederick Mackenzie 'D.A'. General.
