Full Description:
Alexander McKay, Assistant Surgeon to the General Hospital, to Carleton. New York. Memorial. With his large family left North Carolina in 1777 leaving behind a considerable property; his services as assistant surgeon to the General Hospital; gave in a return of himself and family to go to Barbados but has never received orders to embark. Has, as instructed, spoken to the captain of a private vessel who goes to the West Indies and who asks 30 guineas to take them and their baggage. Recommended by J. Mervin Nooth the same date.
