Full Description:
Charles Hudson, Thomas Symonds, Charles Everitt and Ralph Dundas to Cornwallis. With regard to a fort being established at Old Point Comfort, for the protection and security of the King's ships which may occassionally be sent to the Chesapeak. The named have taken an accurate survey of the place, and are of the opinion that any superior enemy's force may pass any work that can be established with little damage, or destroy it with the ships that may be there under its protection.
