Full Description:
Leslie to Clinton. Enclosing a report from Lieutenant-Colonel Thompson (dated 20 February). Relates to his command of the cavalry, which he had put into 'exceedingly good order', and his success upon a late excursion on the Santee River with the horse (who were supported by 100 men of the 30th Regiment of the Volunteers of Ireland and 60 Jagers).
