Full Description:
General Sir Guy Carleton to Governor Livingston. Letter requesting that the Governor apprehend the parties involved in the incidents recorded in a copy of letter from Lieutenant-General Losberg, and hand them over as laws had been broken, and were not subject to local protection. As requested in letter of 27 May, books and papers for loan office had been handed over to Mr David Rogers. Also acknowleges receipt of letter concerning points of a serious nature that thought fit to transmit to England for consideration.
